| Customer Reviews:
Monk comes up trumps again! August 30, 2008 My daughter and I are keen fans of Monk and could not wait for it to come out in the UK. We ordered from the US and have just finished watching it. We were so delighted with the quality of the writing and the originality of the stories. I have a feeling that different writers have been brought in and the emphasis is not so much of the OCD - However, Monk came up trumps again and gave us several hours of great viewing.
Enjoyed my purchase August 29, 2008 My husband and I enjoy "Monk" and we were excited when we received this season in the mail. The item arrived just as described and very quickly.
Still fun but starting to slow down August 28, 2008 While I loved Monk Season 6, and recommend it to anyone, I would say that this is the first season where I started to notice the writers having trouble coming up with new and interesting stories. By no means do I think that this isn't worth watching, I'm just concerned that this season may have been the beginning of the inevitable point in any series where it starts going downhill. I'll keep my fingers crossed for season 7!
Great family show August 18, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This has been and always be a great family show. Can't say that for too much nowadays. Seeing Monk in Jail part 1 and 2 is truly a must see.
Keeps on Improving August 17, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
As new series of "Monk" isn't on free to air television in New Zealand I couldn't wait for this series to arrive in the mail, and wasn't disappointed. Each series seems better than the last. I love the way the Monk character developes and doesn't stagnate. I marvel at the writing, how do they come up with these story lines? Would have got five stars but took one off for the dreadful makeup of Mr Big.
