LOVED this movie. Tracy Turnblad gives hope and inspiration. Nikki Blonsky was PERFECTLY cast for the movie. Actually the only person I would have recast is John Travolta. He is neither funny, nor believable, and I think he ruins the movie.
Everyone else in the movie, in my humble opinion, works great. Very talented group. Queen Latifah is perfectly cast, too!! As are the characters Seaweed & Corny Collins.
John Travolta was a HORRIBLE choice, and I love most of Travolta's stuff, just not here. Wrong, all wrong for this part.
The movie is uplifting though, if you can look past the character of Edna. I recommend the movie as a whole! OVERWHELMINGLY- and for the record I don't like musicals. Just this one and Grease. (Where Travolta was perfectly cast as Danny Zucco.)

If you are a fan of this movie I would recomend this set. The only thing that was a little disappointing was you don't get to choose the color of the locker and unfortuantly during shipment my locker got a little damaged. It was packed well and is quite heavy when you receive it but my locker shelf must of came loose at some point during the shipping ans scratched up the inside of the locker. But overall the features are worth it.
