This thumb rest is great! The thumb rest makes playing so enjoyable as it is so much easier to finger the instrument. I will never play without one again! The thumb rest snaps on and can be placed where it is most comfortable, for the player.

I had never seen these and I even talked to a friend of mine that teaches recorder lessons. When I found these I told her about them.
I got it for my daughter's recorder. I was trying to teach her to put her fingers down on the holes properly and she was having trouble. Since I played the clarinet I thought it would help to have a thumb rest. This just clips on to the back of the recorder and has helped her. When I've used it I wished it was a little bigger, but it's fine for her 5 year old hands.
