 Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle is FUNNY! January 4, 2009
Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle is the original and far superior to the sequel. This is a very funny movie centered around smoking pot and getting laid. There are some very outlandish scenes but none funnier than the cameo by Neil Patrick Harris.
Extremely underwhelming... December 18, 2008
Well; when it first came out, it was the funniest buddy movie i've seen. Fast forward to this blu-ray edition, supposedly extreme unrated; Harold & Kumar have become stale. Btw, why the 'extreme unrated' tag, because of the 'topless' scenes? please...
Don't get me wrong, the feature film looked good visually. It just that the shock/comedic value have gone down. Meant to be seen only once, not for repeated viewings.
The special features: there's nothing impressive there. All done in 'glorious' 480p resolution.
Final Thoughts
Rent it, borrow it. Never own it, unless this brand of comedy is right in your alley...

I think this is one of the best blu ray dvds i have seen in! The picture quality is awesome The sound is good. But overall a must have if you are a fan of these guys. Very recommended!

This movie is wonderfully funny. I never believed that a film could tread the line of "gross" and "hilarious" as well as this one does. It was great fun and I had to find White Castle burgers (for the first time in 20 years) after it was over! The two leads are terrific, not the usual stoner-brat-pack jerks and their supporting characters were excellent too. I just loved it.
