Amazon.com Is it possible to believe a Church that has prophesied the end of the world incorrectly seven times? If you are a Jehovah's Witness and if you work hard enough for the organization is it remotely possible that you will be one of the 144,000 who go to Heaven or will you be one of the many to be annihilated? Is Hell just a superstitious myth? Is Jesus really the archangel Michael? These are just some of the perplexing problems facing today's Jehovah's Witnesses around the world. Most Jehovah's Witnesses follow the directives and teachings of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society in Brooklyn, New York, with fervent zeal and unquestioning obedience. So, how do they deal with all of the obviously false prophecies? On this program, Dr. Walter Martin, author of Jehovah of the Watchtower, examines these and other provocative questions. We take you to the headquarters of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society in Brooklyn, New York and also to a meeting of ex-Jehovah Witnesses in Pennsylvania. You'll learn about the devastating results of "shunning" and victory through trial by fire. Testimonies of former members reveal many psychological insights into the motivation of this group. Dr. Martin also provides a concise look at their theology along with an examination of the errors of the Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Bible. You may have read about the Watchtower Society before or even think you understand who they are and what they believe but until you see this hard-hitting documentary you won't have the full story. Included is a mini "how to" course on how to answer a Jehovah's Witness at your door and tell them who Jesus really is!

Good info! January 12, 2008 This is very informative, but dry. Many already know that Dr. Walter Martin was a leader on Cults. This documentary only serves as a reminder. The information is solid, but the delivery is dry.
