Hilarious and classic comedy! November 28, 2008
Estelle Getty, Bea Arthur, Betty White and Rue McClanaghan star as four older women, sharing a house -- and all sorts of adventures -- in 1980's Miami.
Together, the quartet deal with trouble from dates, visiting relatives, workplace issues -- and the downright bizarre, such as in the hilarious "Bringing Up Baby," where Rose discovers her uncle has left her $100,000 in his will. The catch is, she'll have to take care of his beloved pig until its death in order to receive it...
Amidst the ever-present laughs, there are also a few poignant moments, such as "Old Friends," when Sophia befriends an elderly man with Alzheimer's.
If you haven't ever watched this show, give it a try -- it's guaranteed to become a favorite!

I was happy with ALL of the Golden Girls discs I have recieved. I have all but 2 of the complete seasons. It's wonderful that I can watch the show w/o having to sit through the commercials, or even fast fwd through them. They aren't there. Picture is very clear, quality is excellent. I received the discs in about a week, and none were damaged. I will order the rest of them through Amazon.com to complete my collection. This will serve as my review for all the CD's for this sit-com.

I am a big fan of The Golden Girls. I have been watching them for years and love every episode. I just purchased this set and am getting ready to order season 4! I can't wait to have the whole collection. I can sit and watch the girls for hours! This set has some of my favorites. Every bit as enjoyable as the first 2 sets.

All of the episodes of "The Golden Girls: The Complete Third Season" were outstanding. Overall, this season was excellent. However, I was disappointed with the special features on the DVDs - I think they should have included more features, such as bloopers and outtakes. I thought that the "Golden Moments" and "The Golden Girls' Scrapbook" features were pointless; they were basically just a rehash of clips from "The Golden Girls." You can already see these clips from all of the episodes, so what exactly is the point of putting a bunch of clips together and calling it a "special feature?"
