Product Description Netherlands released, PAL/Region 2 DVD:it WILL NOT play on standard US DVD player. You need multi-region PAL/NTSC DVD player to view it in USA/Canada: LANGUAGES: English ( Dolby Digital 5.1 ),Dutch ( Subtitles ),French ( Subtitles ),ANAMORPHIC WIDESCREEN (1.85:1), SPECIAL FEATURES: Cast/Crew Interview(s), Filmographies, Interactive Menu, Scene Access, Trailer(s), Uncut,SYNOPSIS: Ken Park focuses on several teenagers and their tormented home lives. Shawn seems to be the most conventional. Tate is brimming with psychotic rage; Claude is habitually harassed by his brutish father and coddled, rather uncomfortably, by his enormously pregnant mother. Peaches looks after her devoutly religious father, but yearns for freedom. They're all rather tight, or so they claim. But they spend precious little time together and none of them seems to know much about one another's family lives. This bizarre dichotomy underscores their alienation # the result of suburban ennui, a teenager's inherent sense of melodrama, and the disturbing nature of their home environments. Buyer Beware November 25, 2007 During my research on this film, one of the different offerings gave it a X-rating, which I agree is appropriate. Because of the subject matter, I would give it a soft core X rating because it has a story that includes sex among teenagers. The movie depicts the anxieties that teenagers face in their own personal family life and the directions they go to resolve the issues of emerging puberty, privacy, and freedom. Parents should view this film and learn from their teenagers what issues they consider important to them. Then set groundrules that allows them freedom to express themselves with a safety net that the teenager can fall back on.

I dont no how people can call films like this "art" or enything. its a movie about Kids having sex... thats it. Grafic at that as well... The movie Kids was actully good and had a point. But this is just child porn. discusting.. nasty. Larry Clark has a problem.
Ken Park-It and Leave It June 24, 2006 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Ken Park is gritty and raw, much like "Kids", but not quite as extreme as "Gummo". The subject matter is not especially groundbreaking, but the explicit sex scenes give the film shock value and legendary status. See this film if you're curious, but if you've ever been to an adult website you've already seen the bulk of what Ken Park has to offer. If you have trouble finding a copy of the DVD, check the online auction sites (that's where I got mine).
