Description Their licenses suspended, their vehicles impounded, a hapless band of misfits, malcontents and dreamers meet in traffic school. As it turns out, this isn't your ordinary run of the mill traffic school. The crew find themselves in the clutches of two over zealous police officers lead by the Judge to running the school so that the students are forever without licenses and cars. What ensues is a side splitting, tire screeching battle of wits. Who will be king of the road?

very good November 16, 2008 As always, I was very satisfied with my order. It arrived on schedule and in great condition. Thanks!!!
Clever twist of events in regard to traffic violations October 15, 2008 A must see for fans of the Police Academy series. Adds another "wrinkle" and "chuckle" at the way traffic violations are issued and handled by the police department and the offenders.
MOVING VIOLATIONS is Pefect for POLICE ACADEMY fans! February 27, 2008 Following their success with the original POLICE ACADEMY, the same team came together for another public safety comedy, MOVING VIOLATIONS. Although not as funny as the first couple ACADEMY films (but definitely much funnier than the last few), VIOLATIONS plays in the same vain as the entire POLICE ACADEMY franchise. You have a male/female team that is out to break a classroom full of driver's education students who have all lost their licenses for one reason or another. The lead male picks up one of his classmates along the way. Even one of the stars was featured in POLICE ACADEMY 4.
If you are a fan of POLICE ACADEMY, then definitely give MOVING VIOLATIONS a try. You may not add it to your collection, but you should at least find a few laughs hidden within.
MOVING VIOLAIONS January 27, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Not a brain challenging movie, but deliciously silly and funny. Just sit back and enjoy and laugh.
CULT COMEDY CLASSIC January 23, 2008 I'm no movie buff. But as far as I know, this is the only movie, of any significance, featuring actor/comedian Bill Murray's least-known brother ... and he really ain't bad.
Why did this dude "fade to black?"
Anyway, the movie is about the typical hassles associated with having to get your driver's license "re-instated," after too many tickets.
The funniest scene, for me, was when Murray is chatting with his traffic school buddies and refers to his love interest (Jennifer Tilly) as "no rocket scientist." Murray had made a lunch date with her, and then when she briefly re-joins the conversation, Murray asks her where she needs to be picked up. She responds "NASA ... I'm a rocket scientist."
If you like silly comedy, with a Saturday Night Live-esque cast, you'll like the movie.
