I think I remember reading some critical reviews of this dvd set. But I think most Stooges fans will be satisfied with it.
One must be careful however when viewing dvd # 3 "All The World's A Stooge" . The volume is low ...so ...having to pump it up on your system ...well just remember to turn the volume back down !...lest any speakers get blown !!!
BTW I ALSO own the Stooges Collection # 2 1937-1939 . And YES the
re-mastering on those dvd's is very excellent !
But as far as "The Three Stooges DVD Collection (Curly Classics / Spook Louder / All the World's a Stooge)]" ...I think any TRUE Stooges fan WILL like it !...and be satisfied !!! I was !!! ...tony.

My husband grew up watching the Three Stooges every weekend. He introduced our boys to them early on, when our sons were 2, 4 and 6. If anyone in our house is having a bad day or taking himself too seriously, one of these (thankfully brief) movies is usually enough to cheer him up. I love to listen to them laugh when they watch these movies, and so they really cheer me up as well. Movies are full of mindless, physical humor that may need to be explained to small children as "not something you should EVER do to your brother" but lots of fun nonetheless.

The Three Stooges DVD Collection (Curly Classics / Spook Louder / All the World's a Stooge)I should not be the one reviewing these DVDs since I bought them for my partner, who is a BIG Stooges fan. However, watching the look of joy on his face while he was watching these DVDs definitely made this the best gift I gave him this holiday season.

Some people think this stuff is silly, but it always makes me laugh. I am starting a dvd collection of varioius movies and old tv shows, this is the perfect addition. Works out to about 5 dollars an episode, can't beat that.
I would like to collect all of them, the ones with Shemp Too!

The DVD's aren't the same quality as something that was filmed 2007 but for 1940's film it is great and very enjoyable to watch.
