Once following a warm inscription, and again further down the half-title. At Campbell's request Simon Paneak, a Nunamiut tribesman did ninety-seven annotated drawings concerning the life of the tribe; everything from kitchen utensils to hunting and fishing practices. The Museum of New Mexico did a great job producing the book. Campbell was a member of the 1956 Yale North Alaska Expedition, conducting field research in anthropology and natural science. Paneak's drawings are eloquent and simple. A very nice book. Wrapped in Brodart.
